In the glorious Blue Mountains, the Winter Magic Festival 2017 shone and sparkled in all it's pageantry under the most speculator blue skies. The parade was a site to behold, colour, music, dancing and hoola hoops. The parade was lead up the street by Wagana Dance, followed by Hands, Heart and Feet drumming and dancing in their most glorious green costumes. The local preschools and schools had winter frozen characters. Costumes from steampunk group took us back in time and the Greens had the world on their shoulders.
It was a very enjoyable day, with amazing local arts and crafts to shop along the street front stalls. Food was a plenty and a standout for me was the beautiful Vietnamese beef and noodle soup by restaurant 8.
Capturing all the colour and fun and wanting to share this with you all was the inspiration for this blog. Please enjoy these images. The day was a feast for the eyes.
